60 & still
hanging
on the
telephone

SHE’S old enough to claim her pension and those famous blonde locks are dyed red to ward off the grey now… but Deborah Harry’s still hanging on the telephone as she strolls through New York.
And though the Blondie singer was doing her best to cover up as she chatted on her mobile, she still turned heads.
One onlooker said: “All the guys who saw her had to do a double-take as she walked by because she looks 20 years younger than she really is.”
Deborah at 60 may not be quite as slim as in her hit years of the 70s and 80s, but she’s recently trimmed down.
And her UK fans are in for a treat when Blondie perform hits like Heart of Glass and Hanging on the Telephone on tour next month.
