Her band Blondie helped define the look and sound of punk rock in the ’80s.
And Debbie Harry looked as edgy as ever as she took to the stage on Sunday evening at the AO Arena in Manchester.
The iconic singer, 76, wowed in a bright green leather jacket and dress as she sang her heart out.
Debbie looked effortlessly cool as she sported a pair of stylish dark sunglasses.
Fans were treated to an energetic two-hour set with hits such as Atomic, Heart of Glass, Hanging on the Telephone and Picture.
The iconic American band kicked off their first UK tour in five years on Friday in Glasgow.
Debbie told the crowd at the 14,000-capacity arena: ‘This is a long time coming for me. It’s really an honour to be back here.’
The show had been postponed due to Covid however the disappointment of that delay has been well and truly cushioned by the bands incredible display on the night.
Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway recently said Debbie looked ‘amazing’, while co-host Richard Arnold added: ‘She has ripened beautifully’.
The performance comes after the former wild child rocker revealed her hell-raising days are behind her – as she has taken up knitting.
The former heroin addict, has previously spoken about how she ‘tried everything’ during the band’s heyday.
In an interview for The Big Issue with Johnny Marr, the former guitarist with The Smiths, the singer said: ‘I’m curious about how I will respond to being back out on the road, since I haven’t done it for a couple of years.
‘I’ve had to change my behaviour over the years, and behaviour is very hard to change.
‘On tour these days I do what the women on the front during the French Revolution would do. I sit there knitting and rocking back and forth.
‘That’s what I do. I will be bringing my knitting needles with me.’
