STREAMING PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO LGBTQAI+ CHARITIES AROUND THE WORLD WITH THE 5 ARTISTS: Debbie Harry, Greko, Sharon Needles, Amanda Lepore, & Peppermint — choosing a different charity with which to align every two months.
The “BORN THIS WAY” foundation, a non-profit that aims to inspire youth and build better communities, which was founded in 2011 by Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, will be the first organization to benefit.
#LIFTEMUP’s lyrical message is a simple yet direct reminder to take the time and look out for LGBTQAI+ members who may be struggling. It is our responsibility to empower the most marginalized and embattled among us — to #LIFTEMUP.
When each of us is an individual beacon of strength, we are better equipped to conquer the obstacles facing the LGBTQAI+ community and achieve the fundamental rights and freedoms we deserve.
