Do The Lovebox
We’re muchos excited about the latest additions to the line-up of the Lovebox Weekender festival, taking over Victoria Park for two days in July, when we’re hoping the weather will be as scorching as it’s been in May.
For a start, one of the best veteran party bands around, the B-52s (just try and hear ‘Love Shack’ or ‘Rock Lobster’ and not want to dance) will be making a long-awaited return to London, while one of the best new acts we’ve seen in a while, the lovely Patrick Wolf, has been added to the roster. Most impressive of all though, the Lovebox Weekender will be playing host to one of the most iconic bands ever, Blondie. Blondie’s hits are legion, and there isn’t one of us who wouldn’t want to be their world famous frontwoman Debbie Harry, so just try and keep us away. If you want to see Blondie live in London and to enjoy everything else the festival has to offer, including a stage from scene favourite Horse Meat Disco, get booking those tickets soon ’cause this is gonna be one packed Lovebox!
