The rich, the famous and the desperate fetted SPIN’s first anniversary at The Saint in New York City on March 19, 1986.
It was the best of parties; it was the worst of parties. It was like heaven; everyone wanted to be there. It was like hell; everyone was there.
It was a totally democratic party. The people in the V.I.P. room were equal to the people in the rest of the club.
