Debbie Harry and the boys started by plumbing the ’60s on Blondie. Three albums later, they have a head start on the ’80s, further refining their unique fusion of pop tradition, arty notions, and uncompromising new wave values on Eat to the Beat. The band just finished the filming for their Hollywood debut in a movie called “Roadie” expected to be ready in late 1980.
